WB Transfer Sponge (Filter Paper-Free, 70×90mm) |
G6048-20A |
20 pcs(70×90 mm) |
Product Description
The transfer sponge is used in Western blot experiments to provide support during protein transfer, ensuring tight contact between the membrane and gel, allowing stable transfer of proteins onto the membrane.
This product is a filter paper free transfer sponge, eliminating the need for traditional filter paper in the "sandwich structure", resulting in convenience, speed, and efficiency. The pre-cut size of this transfer sponge is 70×90 mm, with a thickness of approximately 4.5 mm.
Instructions for Use
Immerse the transfer sponge, gel, and transfer membrane (PVDF membrane needs to be activated with methanol first) in the transfer buffer and equilibrate at room temperature for about 2 minutes.
Assemble the transfer "sandwich structure": Taking the Servicebio Transfer Electrophoresis System(SVT-2) as an example, place the materials in the transfer clamp in the order of positive electrode (+) (red) > transfer sponge > transfer membrane > gel > transfer sponge > negative electrode (-), and then close the transfer clamp. Ensure that any air bubbles between the gel and transfer membrane are removed.
Storage and Transportation
Store and transport at room temperature, protecting from moisture, and it will be effective for a long time
Notes
After the transfer is complete, thoroughly rinse the transfer sponge with pure water, allow it to dry, and store it for future use.
The transfer sponge is a consumable item. If it becomes thin or damaged after repeated use, please replace it with a new sponge promptly.
Please wear a lab coat and disposable gloves during operation.
This product is for research use only!
