Product Description/Introduction
Hematoxylin is one of the most commonly used dyes in histochemistry and immunohistochemistry. Weigert Iron Hematoxylin Staining Solution is a strong staining solution consisting of Hematoxylin and Ferric Chloride, which is mixed prior to use, and is mainly used for staining nuclei in staining experiments that require acid treatment, e.g., VG (Van Gieson), Masson Collagen Staining, etc., which are all used Weigert iron hematoxylin, make cell nuclei blue or brownish blue colour.
The product consists of two components, hematoxylin dye solution and ferric chloride solution, hematoxylin dye solution at a concentration of 1% and ferric chloride solution at a concentration of 1.2%

Procedures
1. Before use, mix component 1 hematoxylin staining solution and component 2 ferric chloride solution according to 1:1 volume ratio, that is Weigert iron hematoxylin staining solution, this staining solution should not be left for a long time, Should use within 4 hours.
2. Slices are routinely dewaxed to water.
3. Sections are stained with Weigert's Iron Hematoxylin Stain for approximately 1-5 min (can be optimally adjusted according to the results of the pre-test).
4. Tap water wash back to blue 5-10 min
5. Wash with distilled water for 1 min.
6. Staining for 0.5-2 min with a re-staining solution (e.g. VG Stain).
7. Sections were rapidly differentiated in 95% ethanol for a few seconds.
8. Dehydrated with anhydrous ethanol, transparent with xylene and sealed with a neutral gum.
