Servicebio^® Transfer Membrane Sponge

The membrane transfer sponge is used to support the protein transfer in the Western blot experiment to ensure that the membrane and the glue are tightly combined, so that the protein can be stably transferred to the membrane.

When transferring the film, according to the "sandwich" structure of "sponge-filter paper-gel-membrane-filter paper-sponge" , one piece on each side at a time, and use with the transfer membrane filter paper.

This G6048 series are filter paper-free transfer sponge, eliminating the need for transfer filter paper in the traditional "sandwich structure," making the process convenient, fast, and efficient.

Instructions for Use

Immerse the transfer sponge, gel, and transfer membrane (PVDF membrane should be activated with methanol first) in the transfer buffer and equilibrate at room temperature for approximately 2 minutes.

Assemble the transfer "sandwich structure": Taking the Seville Transfer Electrophoresis Instrument (STV-2) as an example, arrange the materials in the transfer clamp in the following order: positive electrode (+) (red) > transfer sponge > transfer membrane > gel > transfer sponge > negative electrode (-). Ensure that there are no bubbles between the gel and the transfer membrane.

Storage and Transportation
Storage and transport at room temperature, keep it cool and dry to prevent moisture and be effective for a long time.

Notice

1. Repeated use will affect the resilience of the sponge. Please replace the transfer sponge frequently to make sure the transfer effect.

2. Please wear lab coat and disposable gloves during operation.
