Introduction |
PUMC-HUVEC-T1 is positive for endothelial markers vWF, CD31, and CD34, can bind lectins, and displays tight junctions and W-P bodies under an electron microscope. It can form tubule-like structures on Matrigel. The karyotype of HUVEC-T1 remains normal and stable across different passages (P12, P13, P19, P38), and it does not form tumors when inoculated into nude mice (P9 and P33). |

Cryopreservation Conditions |
Use serum-free, protein-free non-programmed cryopreservation solution (containing DMSO, clear in color) [G1709-100ML]; store directly at -80°C for one day, then transfer to liquid nitrogen, or use FBS 90% + DMSO 10% (milky yellow), program-cool in a cryo box at -80°C for one day before transferring to liquid nitrogen. (Note: During cell recovery, remember to dilute with culture medium before centrifuging!)

DMEM/High Glucose, also known as DMEM (Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium) high-glucose medium, is a modified version of MEM and is now widely used for culturing various cell types. DMEM high-glucose medium is commonly applied to fast-growing, low-adhesion cells. It can be used for culturing various primary mammalian cells, such as primary fibroblasts, neurons, glial cells, HUVEC, and smooth muscle cells, as well as cell lines such as HeLa, 293, Cos-7, and PC-12. This product contains essential amino acids, vitamins, inorganic salts, and other components required for cell culture, but it does not contain proteins or growth factors. For optimal use, supplement with 5-10% serum or serum-free additives based on the cell type.
Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS) is the most widely used natural medium in cell culture, rich in essential nutrients for cell growth and commonly used for the in vitro culture of animal cells, with critical functions. This product is premium-grade FBS, heat-inactivated and filtered for sterility, requiring no additional heat inactivation before use. It can be used directly after slow thawing at low temperature.

STR Locus Profile

Storage and Transport
Cells: T25 culture flask, shipped at room temperature; cryovial shipped on dry ice, stored in liquid nitrogen.
Medium: Shipped at room temperature, stored at 2-8°C, with a 12-month shelf life.
Notes
1. To ensure cell quality, we recommend choosing cryovial shipments during July-August and December-January.
2. Upon receiving cells shipped in a T25 culture flask, please promptly check the outer packaging for any damage, inspect the culture flask for cracks or leaks, and ensure the medium is not cloudy. If any issues are found, contact us immediately.
3. Upon receiving cells shipped in a cryovial, check if dry ice remains in the foam box and that the cells inside the cryovial are in a frozen state. If there are no special circumstances, proceed with thawing and culturing immediately.
4. Refer to the cell manual for steps and precautions related to cell thawing, culturing, and passaging.
5. Follow strict aseptic procedures to prevent contamination.
