Product Introduction

Liquid Blocker PAP Pen is a special marker pen that provides a thin film-like hydrophobic barrier when using the immunohistochemical pen to draw circles around the tissue on the slide. Without affecting the experimental results, it can effectively reduce the amount of reagents used and avoid dry flakes and decapsulation caused by the loss of reagents on the surface. It is suitable for immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, in situ hybridization, special staining, etc. This product adopts an optimized chemical formula to withstand the ethanol dehydration and hydration steps, as well as the high temperature operation required for denaturation during in situ hybridization, and the heat resistance during the test is below 120°C. This product is used for slides with anti-dropping treatment. It contains 4mL of pen solution, and it can draw circles about 500 times when used correctly.

Storage and Transportation

At room temperature.

Instructions for Use

1. Before the first use, shake the pen up and down vigorously several times to mix the pen oil, and press the pen tip vertically with the glass slide for many times until the pen tip is fully soaked in the pen oil; be careful not to press too hard and cause the pen oil to flow out too much.

2. Drain the water as much as possible or use an absorbent paper towel to absorb the water droplets around the tissue. Then draw a circle at a suitable position from the tissue (recommended 2-3 mm) or draw a line on the upper, lower, left and right sides of the tissue edge. Dry at room temperature for 10-30 minutes. And then proceed to the next step.

3. After use, close the pen cap tightly to prevent the pen liquid from waving.

Notice

1. If the nib has not been used for a long time without oil, you can shake it up and down again and then press the nib vertically with the glass to infiltrate the nib.

2. The pen oil is insoluble in alcohol and acetone, but can be removed with xylene or xylene derivatives.

3. Please wear lab coat and gloves.
